Dallas Destiny

Welcome to the homepage of the 2007 and 2008 USCL Champions, the Dallas Destiny, who play their matches at the University of Texas at Dallas.

After a tough 2009 season which saw the two-time defending champions fail to make the postseason, Dallas comes into 2010 with a very retooled roster, showing their seriousness about attempting to turn around the struggles of 2009.

Most notably, after a four year absence from the Destiny team, recent US Open Champion, GM Alejandro Ramirez finally has returned to the Dallas roster.  In addition, the inclusion of both IM Puchen Wang and UTD Chess Coach IM Rade Milovanovic will collectively give Dallas a nice variety of very strong lineups to throw at their opponents.

An unquestionable main key to the Destiny's back to back Championships was the play of their duo of two time All Stars.  One of them, WFM Bayaraa Zorigt, after an incredible 2008 season which saw her capture top All Star honors, had a surprising negative reversal in 2009.  In addition to the play of Dallas's new recruits, whether she can recapture the form of her amazing 2008 run could be the two main keys as to whether the Destiny manage in 2010 an equally surprising turn around as they showed in 2009.
