For the 2007 USCL season, the Game of the Week award will be voted on by three judges. The judges
will rank their top five games in order from first to fifth. The first place game will receive 5 points, the second
place game will receive 4 points and so on. The total scores from all three judges will be added up to determine
the Game of the Week winner. The judges are:

IM Greg Shahade

The USCL Commissioner  was the only judge for Game of the Week in 2005, before passing the duties onto Arun Sharma in 2006.

NM Arun Sharma

Arun is a former US Cadet Champion who has been highly involved with the league since it's inception in 2005.

Arun was the only judge for Game of the Week in 2006.

Jonathan Hilton

This 16 year old USCF expert has written instructive articles for US Chess Online.

Jonathan also plans on doing the chess.fm radio broadcasts on ICC along with FM Robby Adamson

Tiebreak procedures will work as follows:

1. If the score is tied between one or more games, whichever game had the most first place votes will receive the award.
2. If the score is tied between one or more games and all games involved had the same number of first place votes then whichever game received the highest scores elsewhere will win.
For example, if one game is ranked 1st, 2nd and 5th, and another game is ranked 1st, 3rd and 4th, the game that received the 2nd place vote will win.
3. If all of the above tiebreaks result in a tie then an outside judge will be contracted to break the tie. This judge may vary.
